Connecting Google is optional. When a business owner chooses to connect their own Google account, Tradellen uses the following data only to provide the features below:
We create and update calendar events for the appointments customers book through Tradellen, so the owner’s existing Google Calendar stays the single source of truth for their schedule.
We send the owner’s customer-facing emails — appointment confirmations, reminders and invoices — from the owner’s own Gmail address so their customers recognize the sender. This is send-only: Tradellen never reads, modifies, labels or deletes any message in the mailbox.
We read the connected account’s primary email address so we know which Google account is linked and send from the correct address.
